The TAGIT™ Premium Light Rhombus EM System (PrmL-R) sets a new standard in library security, combining exceptional detection performance with a clean, modern design. Engineered specifically for prestige libraries, learning centers, and sensitive institutional environments, the Rhombus system ensures reliable protection of books, media, and confidential materials.
Equipped with dual-coil rhombus geometry and advanced electromagnetic detection, the system achieves highly accurate tag detection across all three orientations, with a strong emphasis on vertical alignment — even in electrically noisy environments.
Designed for intuitive use, the system features built-in audible and visual alarms, allowing full customization of alarm durations and tag compatibility. Its internal control unit offers seamless tuning to meet each library’s unique operational needs.
Single-width doorways (up to 90 cm) are efficiently secured with a two-pedestal setup, while wider or double-door entrances can be protected with multi-pedestal configurations.
As with all TAGIT™ systems, the Rhombus antenna’s core electronics and structural components are built to the highest standards, ensuring minimal maintenance and long-term operational reliability.
Fully compatible with both Harmonic and Barkhausen EM tag formats, the system supports legacy stock as well as interlibrary transfers, giving you maximum flexibility without compromising security.
Yes. TAGIT 3D EM systems operate at low frequencies, enabling them to detect products even when hidden in aluminium foil or booster bags—techniques used to bypass traditional RF and AM systems.TAGIT labels also perform reliably on metal surfaces, rounded packaging, and small objects. Watch how
Yes, with one exception. TAGIT EM labels are compatible with all standard EM systems except Meto. For customers using both Meto and non-Meto systems, dual-technology labels are available that work across platforms—including tagging at DC or during manufacturing.
Yes. TAGIT 3D EM technology detects labels applied to metal objects—unless the metal is magnetized, which interferes with detection.
Larger products → use longer labels for stronger signal detectionSmaller products → use short or high-performance labels (e.g. Twin or Power Labels)
Longer labels generally improve detection range, and high-performance options boost results for difficult surfaces or formats.
TAGIT systems allow you to protect more high-shrink items than other technologies, leading to significant shrinkage reduction and a better return on investment.

Only items with magnetic properties cannot be protected. This limitation aside, TAGIT 3D EM is one of the most versatile and widely compatible EAS systems available.
Nearby devices such as air conditioners, computer monitors, special lighting, and Meto EM systems can introduce environmental noise. This is a known issue with all EAS systems—not unique to TAGIT.
If environmental noise cannot be reduced physically, you can optimize system performance using:
- Master-Master or Turbo configurations
- Sensor-based tuning
These allow fine adjustment to ensure maximum detection reliability even in challenging conditions.
TAGIT 3D EM systems can detect across aisle widths up to 1.15 meters with standard setups.
- Use longer EM labels where possible
- Upgrade to Turbo Mode or Master-Master configuration with sensors
- Apply high-performance specialty labels for critical items
These adjustments allow greater aisle flexibility and stronger detection performance.
